Martin’s Dam was organized in 1924 to provide swimming and other sporting activities, and we are proud to have retained our founder's original "old swimming hole" atmosphere...even after all these years. Located in Wayne, PA on over 40 beautifully landscaped acres, our roster of sporting activities include swimming, diving, tennis, platform tennis, outdoor basketball, fishing, ping pong and picnicking.

TENNIS
MARTIN’S DAM TENNIS PROGRAM
We have eight (8) of the best Hard-Tru courts in the area which are open from April 1 through October. Courts are open from sunup to sundown. All white tennis attire is required from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
Guest Fees
Members are encouraged to bring guests to play for the following fees:
Weekday: $7
Weekend/Holidays: $10

Private 60-minute Lesson: $85/player
Private 30-minute Lesson: $50/player
Semi-private 60-minute Lesson: $105/2 players
Three & Me 60-minute Lesson: $120/ 3 players

Stringing
Stringing cost is $20 plus the cost of selected string.

PADDLE
MARTIN’S DAM PADDLE PROGRAM
Paddle, or platform tennis, is a uniquely all weather outdoor racquets sport. It was created in 1928 in Scarsdale, New York by Cogswell and Fessenden, who wanted to play tennis in the winter. Now, over 100 years later, Paddle is fast becoming one of the most popular sports in the country due to its tactful gameplay and social atmosphere.
No matter your level or ambition in the sport MDC Paddle offers a wide variety of programming, events and opportunities for you; from tournament and league play (both Mens and Womens) to fun and social paddle, you will have a home with us.
We also have a burgeoning Junior Program for kids from age 7 through high school, with Paddle becoming a new High School and National Level Sport.
Private and Group Lessons are available, as well as equipment such as balls, paddles, shoes, gloves from our Paddle Pro Shop at excellent prices to all members. (Demo paddles are also available for new players)
The Paddle courts are available for general use by members and unreserved courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserving a court in advance is recommended, especially for peak play times.

MINI CAMP
MARTIN’S DAM MINI CAMP
Mini camp registration opens April 14, 2024
The Martin’s Dam Mini Camp has a 3-week max per camper, as we would like for everyone to have a chance to experience Mini Camp. Also, the ages for mini camp are for members entering first through fifth grade. If you do not get into the weeks that you would like, please make sure to put yourself on the waiting list via Club Automation.

club MEMBERship
To apply for membership, the applicant must seek out a sponsor and three other active members who are in good standing and have been members at Martin’s Dam for at least a year each. The sponsor must request the membership form on behalf of the applicant. Applications can be submitted at any time during the year. Once the application has been received with all documentation and required payments, the applicant(s) will immediately be placed on the Waitlist. The exception is for legacy membership applications. The waitlist length of time is anywhere from 6 months to 24 months. Invitations are typically sent out in late September.
